The percentage of population receiving COVID-19 Vaccine is calculated by the number of individuals receiving the vaccine divided by the population estimate for that age group living in Summit County. The methodology used thus far utilized the Census Population Estimates for the denominator population. The new methodology aims to more accurately estimate the population increase to 2021 until the new Census data is available.
As of May 11, 2021, a total of 28,313 first dose vaccines have been administered to persons living in Summit County.
Please note: The vaccination clinic located at the Utah Film Studio has stopped administering first dose vaccinations but will continue to offer second dose appointments.
As of May 11, 2021, a total of 19,937 second dose vaccines have been administered to persons living in Summit County.
There are 1,296 second dose appointments scheduled with Summit County Health Department. Individuals must receive their second dose with the provider they received their first dose.
As of May 11, 2021, a total of 2,392 single dose vaccines (Johnson and Johnson) have been administered to persons living in Summit County. The Advisory Committee on Vaccine Practices (ACIP) has resumed the administration of the single dose vaccines.
The Summit County Health Department is now offering vaccines at their department offices located in Park City, Coalville and Kamas.
Upcoming clinics:
- NOMI Health will be hosting a vaccine clinic at 40 N. Main Street in Coalville on Saturday, May 15, 2021. The clinic will offer the Johnson & Johnson vaccine and will be open from 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM. Walk-ups are welcome. Register at vacc.me/coalville
- On Monday, May 17 another clinic will be held at Eccles Theater in Park City from 12-8 PM. The Pfizer vaccine will be available for anyone ages 12-18.
- A third clinic is being organized in South Summit; time and date to be determined. Visit summitcountyheath.org/vaccine for updates.
The Emergency Use Authorization for Pfizer vaccines was modified to include ages 12 through 15-years-old. Summit County residents 12-17 years old who are eligible for the Pfizer vaccine can receive their vaccine at the upcoming NOMI Health clinics listed above
