Director of Behavioral Health, Prevention Programs
A native from Uruguay, Pamella has worked in behavioral health prevention programs in Summit County for over 13 years coordinating prevention efforts and improving the quality of life in this community.
A Licensed Prevention Specialist through IC&RC/AODA Pamella is also trained in Universal Prevention Curriculum. Being bilingual she is able to provide all services in Spanish and English.

Behavioral Health Prevention Specialist
With a degree in Behavioral Health with an emphasis on Family Studies, Chantal has worked 6 years in a toxicology lab helping monitor substance use/misuse before moving to the Health Department to work in alcohol and drug Prevention. She has lived in Summit County her whole life, is of Latino descent, and is very passionate about the work she does, especially to help bridge the gap between her Spanish-speaking community.

Substance Abuse Prevention Program Specialist
As a native Utahan and Summit County resident Betty is dedicated to making a positive impact. She is passionate about substance abuse prevention and mental health advocacy. Betty is experienced in coalition work, leveraging diverse perspectives to develop innovative strategies for community engagement, and is committed to fostering collaboration and empowering youth through active involvement in Youth Coalitions. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature, utilizing strong communication skills to effectively convey important messages. She seeks to create a safer and healthier community for all, by raising awareness, promoting education, and implementing evidence-based prevention initiatives.
